El mes pasado cuando presenté el libro en el colegio los Robles de Pilar, mi prima, Elo y su marido Cristián Braconi, me pidieron que vaya al colegio La Providencia a dar mi testimonio.
Fernando Braconi, el hermano de Cristián, acaba de inaugurar un proyecto este año que se llama Tesoros de la Providencia. Desde que empezó el colegio en Bella Vista, hace 20 años, tienen chicos integrados. A partir de este año Tesoros incorporó dos clases de chicos con discapacidad de aprendizaje con maestras especiales. Por lo que me cuentan algo soñado! Parecido a lo que Tessie pudo experimentar en el colegio Santa Cruz de Chicureo, Chile, y que yo describo con lujo de detalles en el libro. Un programa que a mi me encantaría reproducir masivamente.
Al mismo tiempo, mi hermana Caro, le regaló un libro a una amiga, María Lagos. María, tiene un hijo con síndrome de Down. Cuando terminó de leer el libro le pidió a Caro que me invite para dar testimonio en su colegio. Ella es de Bella Vista, ¿se imaginan el nombre del colegio?
Mientras tanto, acá en Cupertino, me llamó por teléfono la tía de una amiga de Tessie, Isabel de las Carreras de Morgan. Isa se enteró de mi libro porque su hermano Alfredo se lo comentó. Isabel estaba visitando a su hija en Los Angeles y quería conseguir mi libro. Le comenté de la presentación que iba a hacer en el colegio de La Providencia de Bella Vista y se alegró mucho. Otra de las hermanos de la familia de las Carreras, Mariano, acaba de tener un bebito que nació con síndrome de Down. Alfredo le había regalado el libro cuando recibieron el diagnóstico prenatal. ¿A qué no saben a que colegio van los hijos de Mariano de las Carreras?
Cuando Dios quiere llevarte a algún lado para que hagas algo en especial te lo deja clarito. Más claro hechale agua. Hoy en las laudes rezamos en las preces:

The world is as small as a penny!
Last month when I presented the book in Los Robles School in Pilar, my cousin, Elo and her husband, Cristián Braconi, invited me to share my testimony in The School of the Providence.
Fernando Braconi, Cristián´s brother, has just launched a program called Treasures of the Providence inside the school. Since the school was founded, 20 years ago, they have kids with learning disabilities included. This year, Treasures has incorporated two new clases for these kids with a special teacher in each class. It seems to be a dreamed program! Similar to the one that Tessie had enjoyed in Santa Cruz de Chicureo School in Chile. The one that I describe thoroughly in my book. A program that I will love to reproduce widely!
At the same time, my sister Caro, gave her friend, María Lagos, the book as a gift. María has a son with Down Syndrome. When she finished reading the book she asked Caro to invite me to share my testimony in the school where his son goes. She live´s in Bella Vista, can you imagine which is their school?
Meanwhile, here in Cupertino, I receive a call from the aunt of a friend of Tessie, Isabel de las Carreras de Morgan. Isabel heard of my book through her brother Alfredo. She was visiting her daughter in Los Angeles and wanted to get my book. I invited her to the presentation in The School of the Providence of Bella Vista, she agree happily. Another of the siblings de las Carrera´s, Mariano, had just had a baby born also with Down Syndrome. Alfredo had given him the book when he receive the prenatal diagnosis. Can you guess to what school in Bella Vista Mariano´s children belong to?
When God wants you to be in some particular place and send a special message, he tightens his knit.
